Rebekah May - Murmurations

Claire Elizabeth Gallery is pleased to feature artist Rebekah May. May is a Louisiana native who now calls the foothills of Georgia home. Her work explores the interconnectedness of our natural world with the human experience. In recent years, May’s creative focus has been murmurations - flocks of starlings flying in intricate patterns across the surface of the sky. Originally inspired by seeing these abstractions in a dream, May seeks to evoke a sense of wonder and belonging for the viewer through her compositions.
